Most new adult webmasters have a problem coming up with a niche that they would like to promote. I have written a few posts that will help you find your niche, but since I am doing a project, and I promised to document my every step, this post is dedicated to helping you find a niche.

Brainstorming Ideas.

In an earlier post, I talked about how adult blog directories can be a helpful resource for coming up with a niche idea. I am going to use this brainstorming resource to find a niche for this project. I have decided to use Adult Blog Kingdom to get some ideas. .

For the most part, blog directory owners will not list a category that doesn’t have an audience. They usually put categories that would bring visitors to their directory, so finding a category with an audience is fairly simple using blog directories. .

When Adult Blog Hunter loads, you will see the main page, which lists the different categories featured in the directory. Each directory also has the number of pages listed in parenthesis. Personally, I like to find a category that does not have many pages already submitted, because that means there is less competition. There will be more on competition research in a later post though, so you can pick any category that you want as a niche. .

For this project, I have decided to go with the “Drunk Girls” niche. At the time of writing this post, there are only 7 other blogs submitted to the “Drunk Girls” category, and I have a feeling that there are a lot of guys out there who are into drunk girls. .

Your Action Plan.

All that I want you to do right now is come up with a few ideas for a niche that you would like to promote. If you are not interested in any of the categories on that directory, check out a few other methods of brainstorming a niche that I have mentioned in previous posts.

I do not want you to analyze your ideas. Do not take into consideration anything other than whether or not you think you will be able to write about this niche. Do not worry about competition or the size of the market. That will all come later on. .

Come up with about 3 or 4 ideas, and have them ready for the next post, which will be about coming up with a few keywords to target on your blog. .

If you are having trouble coming up with a niche to blog about, you may not have to look any further than one of the popular adult webmaster sponsors. An adult webmaster sponsor is a company that provides their affiliates with promotional tools, including pictures and videos. They are also in charge of the sites that you will send your traffic to in hopes that they convert to sales.

Sponsors like Adult Pay Master also share their list of top converting and top selling sites with their affiliates. This lets their affiliates know which sites are worth promoting. If you can’t decide on a niche, why not go for something that is already converting very well? Adult Pay Master, for instance, seems to be converting the “cream pie” niche very well right now, so if I were in need of a niche idea, I would consider building an adult blog kingdom around the “cream pie” niche. There are plenty of micro-niche ideas that you could come up with too!

The sponsors are there to help you, because when you make money, they make money. Its a great relationship, so take advantage of the benefits of the relationship. Most sponsors have outstanding affiliate managers who will bend over backwards to help you! The top converting site list is just one of the many tools that are available to help you build your kingdom!

When one person gives another person advice on what to blog about, they usually tell them to blog about something that they are interested in. It makes perfect sense because if you are passionate about something, blogging about it won’t be very difficult.

When I first got into porn blogging, I followed that advice. I was really interested in the big boobs niche, and decided to work in that niche. It was very easy coming up with content on a continuous basis because there are so many sponsors that have big boob content, and I had no problem at all writing about big boobs either.

I didn’t give up though. I continued to build more blogs in the big boob niche, but always had the same results- traffic, but no sales. That’s when I decided that I needed to change my niche. I needed to promote something different. I wanted to make a sale- hell, I wanted to make a lot of sales, and big boobs just weren’t doing it for me

That’s where having an open mind started to make me a lot of money

My main money making niche is something that I have absolutely no interest in. It’s just a little bit too bizarre for me, but there is a pretty nice sized audience that loves it, and the content isn’t too saturated (found all over the Internet).

My niche is what is called a micro-niche. A micro niche is a small part of a much larger market. For instance, the main niche would be “Big Boobs”, but the micro-niche would be “Asian’s With Big Boobs”.

If you want to build an adult blog kingdom, the fastest way to profits is to target a micro-niche of a bizarre niche (like bondage or shemales). You may have to open up your mind a little bit and blog about something that you might not be interested in. Hell, you might even find it completely gross, but as long as it’s legal, and it brings in the cash, who cares about what you think about it? You aren’t the one buying it! You are just collecting the cash from other people who are interested in it!

Adult webmasters usually use adult blog directories to get a little bit of traffic after they submit their site. Submitting to directories will also speed up the time that it takes for a blog to be indexed by the search engines. In the future, there will be more information on this form of traffic generation featured in this blog, but for now, I want to show you how you can use adult blog directories to discover a niche that you want to blog about.

A blog directory is like a phone book that lists websites instead of phone numbers. They are broken down into different categories, so visitors can easily find exactly what they are looking for. Most directories have very specific categories, and list just about every niche that is making any kind of money.

Above is a screen shot of the category list on the Porn Blog Dog directory. That should a great starting point to help you figure out a niche that you may be interested in promoting. If a niche sounds interesting, click on it and explore the blogs that are listed in that category. Don’t get sidetracked and distracted though! Keep your focus on finding a niche!

Try to find two or three different niche ideas that you may want to blog about. Do not worry about checking out the competition, or finding programs to promote though. There will be a time for that later on, but for now, you need to go one step at a time.

Besides the fact that it’s hard to get any real work done when you have tons of porn in your face, the most challenging part of starting a porn blog kingdom is deciding on a niche that you want to blog about.

If you browse any of the adult webmaster forums, you will see that one of the most asked questions involves finding a niche. Whether the post is about which niche converts the best, or which niche has the least amount of competition, newbie and veteran webmasters alike are always looking for that perfect niche.

The truth is, there is no right or wrong answer. Nobody can possibly tell you which niche will be the perfect niche for you! There are a lot of people that have absolutely no problem converting teen content, while others cant make a single dime in the teen niche. What are the money makers doing differently? If I had that answer, I would be a millionaire! Nobody has that answer! Not even those who are actually making the money! They just continue to do what they are doing, and the cash continues to flow.
